About these reportsReported to the FTC by consumers; the FTC does not verify these reports. Caller ID can be faked, so a reported number may not belong to whoever actually made the call. A report is a complaint, not a finding that anyone broke the law.
Is this your number? Reported numbers are often spoofed: callers can show a number they don’t own. If this is your number and you did not make these calls, email corrections@undercurrentdaily.com and we will review the page.

What to do if this number calls you
These steps work for any unexpected call. They aren’t a finding about this number: the reports are unverified, and caller ID can be faked.
- Hang up, and don’t press any keys. Pressing a number to reach a person or “be removed” will probably only lead to more calls, the FTC says.
- Don’t give or confirm personal or financial details to someone who called you: not your Social Security number, bank or card numbers, or a login code.
- If the caller says they’re from a company or an agency, check it yourself. Look up the real phone number on your own statement, card or the official website, and call that. Caller ID is easy to fake, the FTC says.
- Never pay a caller by gift card, wire transfer, cryptocurrency or a payment app to “fix” a problem. The FTC says a demand to pay that way is a sign of a scam, because the money is hard to get back.
- Block the number, and ask your phone company what call blocking it offers. Some services are free, the FTC says.
- Report the call at DoNotCall.gov, or at ReportFraud.ftc.gov if you lost money or shared information.
