Undercurrent covers true crime and the news beneath the headlines. We follow the record: court filings, official statements and on-the-record reporting, with every fact sourced.
We’re a small, independent newsroom brand. We don’t put a face on camera; we put the sources on the page. Every case page on this site shows where each fact comes from, and every video on our channel credits the official records it uses.

How we work
Our reporting standards are short and strict: two sources minimum, charged is not convicted, discuss don’t depict, victims first. When we get something wrong, we correct it in public.
