Who’s calling? Look up a number reported to the FTC

Searches reports from Aug. 21, 2026 to Sept. 24, 2026. The lookup runs in your browser: it loads the list for the area code and never sends us the full number.

What to do about an unwanted call

• Don’t call back and don’t press any keys. Pressing a number “to be removed” will probably lead to more calls, the FTC says.
• Block the number on your phone, and ask your carrier about free call-blocking tools.
• Report the call at DoNotCall.gov (unwanted sales calls and robocalls) or ReportFraud.ftc.gov (if you lost money or shared information).
• Got a text? Forward it to 7726 (SPAM), then delete it.
• Think it might be real? Call the company or agency back on a number you find yourself, like the one on your card or statement.

About this data

These numbers come from the FTC’s Do Not Call reported-calls data, which the Federal Trade Commission publishes each weekday. Each record is a complaint a consumer filed: the number that called, the date, the subject they chose, whether it was a recorded message, and their state. Reported to the FTC by consumers; the FTC does not verify these reports. Caller ID can be faked, so a reported number may not belong to whoever actually made the call.

We update this page from the FTC’s files and show only state-level location, never a city or anything about the person who reported the call. Our data runs from Aug. 21, 2026 to Sept. 24, 2026.

How we choose which numbers get a page

Every number in the FTC’s files from the last 30 days is in the search box above. A number gets its own page once consumers have filed at least 5 reports about it in 30 days, up to the 1,000 most-reported. We ask search engines to list only the pages with enough reports to show a real pattern: at least 10 reports in 30 days, from consumers in at least 3 states. Pages update each weekday from the FTC’s files, and a number drops off when its reports stop.
