Thomas Randolph was convicted in 2023 of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of murder with a deadly weapon in the May 8, 2008 deaths of his wife, Sharon Causse, 57, and Michael Miller, 38, in Las Vegas. His first conviction, in 2017, was reversed in 2020 because the jury heard evidence about his second wife's 1986 death in Utah, a death he was tried for and acquitted of in 1989. On Aug. 31, 2026, the Nevada Supreme Court affirmed the second conviction. He maintains his innocence.

What we don't know / what's disputed
- Whether he will take the case further (rehearing or a federal petition). We found no filing and no public statement from his lawyers as of Sept. 30, 2026.
- Randolph denies the killings. His appeal arguments were rejected by the court; his denial stands as his position.
- Netflix's documentary "The Widower: 'Til Death Do Us Part" was released Sept. 30, 2026. We report the court record, not claims made in the documentary.
What happens next
- Any new filing would appear on the Nevada Supreme Court docket (No. 88625). We're watching it and will post an UPDATE here if the record changes.
Please note
Randolph was acquitted in 1989 in Becky Gault's death and has never been charged in the death of any other former wife. Michael Miller was never charged with any crime; his role is as found by the jury and described by prosecutors and the court.
